2021 Examination Performance

Exam results in 2021 were set by schools based on the work that students had done due to the ongoing challenges that Covid presented to the government in trying to run exams.

Our results in 2021 were good, and were in line with our previous trend of improvement.

Although the results were awarded based on internal assessments rather than by national examinations, we were delighted that staff and students had, yet again, worked together so that our students received the grades they deserved. After such a difficult two years of lockdowns and other Covid measures, it was great to see our lovely Year 11s go off to their Post 16 placements with pride in their achievements.

Together we achieved success! Well done to all.

The biggest story for results is, as ever, that of individual students.  Our highest attaining boy and girl both achieved Grade 9s in all subjects.

Of our 20 KS4 subjects, 19 of them achieved grades higher than the latest national average data available.  This represents a massive achievement.  Symbolic of this is the student who achieved three grade 9s, 5 grade 8s, a 7 and a 6 who started in Year 7 on our intervention programme for weak readers.
