Cover Supervisor

 

Grade 4, Point 7-10. Salary £20,444 - £22,129 (pro rata £6,170 - £6,678)

To start 25th August (an earlier start date can be agreed)

To work for two days a week for 39 weeks a year. More days may be available on an ad-hoc basis

The working hours for the role will be 8.15am–3.15pm (6.5 hours) on Thursdays and Fridays totalling 13 hours per week

Beaumont Leys School is a successful 11–16 school where students achieve well. We are looking to permanently appoint a Cover Supervisor to work within our busy and thriving environment.

We require an enthusiastic, innovative and confident individual to join our highly successful team whose shared purpose is to inspire and challenge all students at our school.

This role would be ideal for a highly organised, flexible and resilient person who can adapt quickly, challenge and support learners of all ages using a range of skills including being able to adapt to and deliver the plans from a range of subject areas.

The successful candidate will do their all to ensure learners of all abilities make progress in all lessons, enjoy their learning and feel happy and safe enabling them to reach the high expectations of our school.

Attendance and Pastoral Administrator 

Salary Scale 4 Point 7-10, £20,444 - £22,129 pro rata (£17,797 - 19,264) for 37.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year

Beaumont Leys School is a successful 11 – 16 school where students achieve well. We are looking to permanently appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual who will assist the pastoral team to support our provision and administration for student support. The post-holder will ensure that school attendance data and systems are employed to increase whole school punctuality and attendance.

We require a candidate with a good level of numeracy and literacy in order to create data which will impact on student outcomes. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism as they will communicate with young people, parents/carers and school staff, as well as external support agencies and local bodies.

Examination Invigilators

Hourly Rate: £10.64

We are actively recruiting new invigilators for the 2021/2022 academic year to complement our current team. We are looking for responsible individuals who can be relied upon to be punctual, professional and promote a supportive atmosphere for students to achieve their best. Being able to communicate and work well in a team is essential.

This is a casual post, is flexible around your availability and does not involve regular commitment. The working hours will vary but exams generally start at either 8.40am or 12.30pm/1pm and you will be expected to arrive 30 minutes before to help set up the rooms.

The main exam season is between May and June, however there are a variety of other exams throughout the year which creates a range of employment opportunities.
