Year 7 Remote Learning Support

We do not want our students to miss out on their learning so, if your child is self-isolating and is well enough, they will be able to access learning in one of three ways:

  • Using Microsoft Teams to listen in to their ‘live’ lesson as it happens in school. Teachers will send an email invitation (please watch the first part of the video below).
  • Completing and submitting work set by their teacher on Satchel One at the same time that they would normally be in that lesson (please watch the middle of the video below)
  • Using ‘Remote learning’ subject tasks from the website at the time that they would normally be in that lesson (please watch the end of the video below)

Whilst we hope to use live lesson invitations on Microsoft Teams as often as we can, we have the above alternatives for when a live lesson is not possible.
